Research: Results from quesitionnaire - Miss Begum

Introduction

My primary source has made me collect a lot of ideas as they were very useful because it has helped me to get my questions that i would like to ask to the audience answered by the, as i have got my answer from them. The graphs shows the amount of people that has picked what in the multiple choices. the amount of people that i have asked was 20 people as they answered all of the question as i have needed.

This pie chart shows how many people watch thriller movies and how many doesn't. As a result out of twenty people watch thriller movies as they are important for me to know. This has helped me as now I know that a lot of teenagers does watch thriller as then my opening scene will take their attention. 

This pie chart is showing on how many people likes thriller movies and how many doesn't. As a result that a lot of people does lilting watch thriller movies, as I know that they do fun it interesting it is. This will then help me as I do know that people do like watching thriller films so they would watch opening scenes as well.

This bar graph shows how often the audience watch a thriller movie. As I look at the chart I could see that the audience does watch a lot of thriller film as it shows in the chart that mostly more than a half of the audience always watches thriller movies. This will help me to know that they do watch thriller movies often and more, so there will be audiences that will watch a thriller opening scene. 

This bar graph shows what type of sub genre the audience prefer. As a result violence was the sub genre that most of the audience had picked as they have found it the most interesting one. This will help me to pick on the type of sub genre I could use in my opening scene on, which would be the most interesting one for them to watch. 

This bar chart shows what the audiences expect to see in a thriller film. As this will help me me by knowing what type of things that they would like to see because they watch it for that reason, as it has given me an idea that violence and crime can be sub genre for my opening scene.

This bar chart shows what the audience expect a thriller film to be set. As a result the audience expect a thriller film to be set in a police station or a house, which a lot of the thriller films does take place because crime and violence will mostly end up in a police station a ghost mystery and psychological thriller will end up in mostly a house. This will help me as I would know what type of setting my thriller opening can be set in.

This bar chart shows what type of sounds the audience would prefer to be used in thriller film. As a result we see that the audience would prefer to have sudden sound to be used in a thriller film. This will help me as I would be then getting an idea if I should use sudden sounding. 

This pie chart shows if love is suitable in a thriller movie. As a result we see that no they do not think that love is suitable in a thriller movie. This will helps me as I would then consider that love isn't used in my opening scene. 

This pie chart shows if the audience think that mystery is good in a thriller film or not. As a result we see that yes mystery is good in a film with the information that we get rom the graph. This will help me as I would then know if they like mystery because they do think that it does suit thriller and then I would be using mystery in my opening scene to make the audience think and the mystery to carry on as they watch it.

This line graph shows on what type of lighting the audiences prefer in a thriller film. As a result we see that they think dark lighting is much better. This will the help me as I would then take there advise and use low-key lighting in my opening scene to make the scene more awkward for the audience.

As a result we see that the audiences think that dark colours is the colours that should be used in a thriller film. This will help me then as I know what type of colours to use on the costumes for the characters that will be in the opening scene.

This pie chart shows what type of gender the audience prefer in a thriller film. As a result we see that people think that both gender will be good in a thriller film. This will them help me by me knowing that I would be able to use both gender types in the opening scene so I won't need to only pick in type of gender.

In the bar chart we see what type of typography the audiences would prefer, which would be effective in a thriller film. As we see that spooky writing is effective in a thriller film for the audience. This will then help me by knowing what type of font I will be using if I add in written information in the opening scene. 

In this bar chart we see what age certificate the audience prefer a thriller film to be. As a result we see that people prefer a thriller film to be 15 and over to be watched. This will then help me to know that I should be making a film that is been watched by 15 and overs.

This bar chart shows what type of costume they think an antagonist would wear in a thriller film. As a result we see that the audience think baggy clothing would be better on an antagonist. This will then help me to know what type of costume I would be making the antagonist to wear in my opening scene. 

This bar chart shows what type of conventions the audiences would not like to see in a thriller film. As a result we see that the audience think that religion and drug abuse they would not like to see as they are two highest. This will then help me to know what type of conventions I would not be using.

Conclusion
This research has helped, as it has created a thriller opening scene with the answers that i have taken. As these will be helping me to know what type of thing i will be putting in my opening and what i will not be putting in the thriller opening scene. In some parts i had struggled as some people did not do the questionnaire some people missed parts of the questions.
